San Miguel de Salinas property: a town above the coast
Choosing property for sale in San Miguel de Salinas means choosing the immediate hinterland of the southern Costa Blanca. This municipality of 7,177 residents (INE 2025) lies between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada in Alicante province, and it is the highest town in the Vega Baja district. It borders Orihuela, which almost surrounds it, as well as Torrevieja and Los Montesinos. You keep a genuine Spanish town while staying a short drive from the Orihuela Costa beaches and Alicante–Elche airport.
The municipality is more than the town itself: it includes urbanisations such as El Galán, Blue Lagoon, Las Filipinas, Lomas del Golf and Balcón de la Costa Blanca.
