Ciudad Quesada property: a golf urbanisation near the sea

Ciudad Quesada is a large urbanisation in the municipality of Rojales, Alicante province. It was developed from the 1980s by Justo Quesada around La Marquesa golf course, an 18-hole course opened in 1989 as Quesada Golf Club. Looking at property for sale in Ciudad Quesada means choosing a residential setting inland, a few kilometres from the beaches of Guardamar and La Mata.

Rojales is also one of the four municipalities of the La Mata and Torrevieja salt lagoons natural park. Alicante–Elche airport is an easy drive away.

Buying in Ciudad Quesada: taxes and NIE

Rojales is in the Valencian Community: 9% ITP on a resale (deeds from 1 June 2026), 10% VAT plus 1.4% AJD on a new build.
